Baking Needs

Many organic flours are available: whole wheat, white wheat with germ, gluten flour, corn flour and meal, rye, spelt, and others.

Organic and non-organic grains include oats, long grain brown rice, basmati, wild rice, millet, teff, einkorn, kamut, rye, spelt and others.

Many gluten-free flours and grains are available, including coconut flour, garbanzo flour, gluten-free bread flour, buckwheat flour, tapioca flour, brown & white rice flour, millet flour, etc. We also have xantham gum and other special products for enhancing your gluten-free baking.

The baking corner has a good variety of natural sweeteners – sucanat, turbinado (demerara) sugar, organic evaporated cane juice, organic brown and powdered sugar, coconut and date sugar. Other sweeteners include unsulphured molasses, agave, brown rice syrup and Stevia. Other baking items include unsweetened coconut, carob chips and powder, and Swerve sweeteners.

We also carry award-winning, organically grown and processed Vermont maple syrup.  We carry a variety of sizes, from pints to gallons, and  in all four grades:  delicate, amber, robust and very dark. Ask for a taste sample!
